Project planning
Our contribution to the planning phase of the project commences once an idea is struck to investigate the possibility of development. We can complete a detailed financial feasibility study for your project to assist with acquisition and financing and we can continue through the Town Planning process by providing Civil Engineering support by completing stormwater strategies, servicing strategies, concept design and general engineering advice.
2D flood modelling
We offer expertise in this area Australia-wide and can undertake analysis for any client from the smallest developments to large scale river systems. This modelling is increasingly being requested by Authorities and clients to determine flood affected areas and how they may impact developments.

Founded by Chris Coughlan in 2002, Axiom Consulting Engineers operates from offices located in Ballarat. Chris has more than 30 years of professional experience in the fields of Local Government, Major Infrastructure and Land Development. He has drawn on that experience to develop a Company that aims to deliver projects while satisfying the requirements of all stake holders – the developer, service authorities, Local Council and the general public.
Axiom Consulting Engineers carries Professional Indemnity insurance as well as Public Liability Insurance and operates a Quality Management system that is certified to ISO9001:2008.

Axiom Consulting Engineers is also accredited with a number of Water Authorities in Victoria which have requirements in relation to pre-qualification of service providers.
